Tying the Tripod
The top of the third pole crosses the two poles 20cm. above the base of the tongue.
Use a double half hitch knot to tie the poles together as shown.
This is the tripod and is the basic structure upon which all other poles lay.
It is also imperative that this knot does not slip.
